Job Details
We are seeking a full time Senior Web Developer who will be onsite at one of the listed home office campuses; League City, Texas; Springfield, Missouri; Glenmont, New York. You should enjoy developing, designing, implementing, and supporting software solutions and systems utilizing Angular and TypeScript web-based applications. Our applications support products for personal and commercial lines of property and casualty insurance for internal staff, agents, and customers.

What will you do:
- Develop, design, and implement software solutions within Angular and TypeScript web-based applications
- Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and design patterns are followed
- Implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure functionality and performance
- Attend meetings with other departments such as UX/UI designers, project managers, and backend systems as the subject matter expert to provide insights and guidance
- Lead technical planning and estimation for new features and enhancements
- Connect front-end applications to back-end services or RESTful APIs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team through documentation, presentations, and code walkthroughs
- Participate in the on-call rotation to support production systems and urgent development environment incidents
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or equivalent and relevant work experience considered
- Proven experience as a professional web developer with expertise in web-based software development environments and front-end UI applications
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Angular version 16 or later, and NodeJS
- Experience with Restful services is beneficial
- Ability to write and maintain unit tests
- Exposure to agile development and the SAFe agile framework is helpful
